We know that many in our community are facing challenges right now with delays in SNAP/EBT benefits. At We Sow We Grow, we believe in showing up for each other—and we’re here to help.
This Saturday, November 8th at 10:00 AM, we’re opening our farm to provide food boxes for anyone experiencing hardship due to benefit disruptions. Come see us at 11958 S. Union Avenue and pick up fresh provisions to help carry your family through.
What to bring: Proof of SNAP benefits (EBT card, approval letter, etc.) If you are able, please also bring your own bag.
This isn’t a one-time thing. We’re committed to supporting our neighbors throughout the growing season, so we hope you’ll come back to visit us regularly for fresh eggs and produce. Our farm grows stronger when our community does, and we want to make sure everyone has access to nourishing food.
Want to help? If you’re in a position to give, we welcome monetary donations, as well as donations of fresh, shelf-stable foods that we can distribute to families in need. You can drop off donations at the farm or make arrangements with us directly.
We’re all in this together, and together we’ll make sure no one goes without. See you Saturday morning.
With community and care,
The We Sow We Grow Team
