It’s September and we’re redoing the farm so that we can start fresh for the next season. What an undertaking, right? That’s why we’re pulling out the bullhorn and asking for volunteers for the next several Saturdays this month AND more coming up in October.

Tasks for the farm overhaul include, leveling the farm, cardboarding the entire farm – it’s exactly what you think it is, installing weed barrier – not the flimsy weed fabric we used seven seasons ago, mulching and then our Bed Building Blitz!

Who we’re looking for: folks who don’t mind working hard while helping to build community. If you believe that neighborhoods are only as good as the neighbors in them, come through and help us extend our roots a bit!

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and if you have them, please bring gloves and a reusable water bottle.

If you’re interested in volunteering during the week, please send an email over to info@wesowwegrow.org

Until next time, keep sowing and growing!
